Eligibility Criteria of CM Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme 2025
To qualify for the Free Solar Panel Scheme, domestic consumers must meet the following requirements:
Monthly Electricity Consumption
Eligible consumers must fall within the following consumption brackets:
- Up to 50 Units (Life Line Consumers)
- 51-100 Units (Life Line Consumers)
- 0-100 Units (Protected Consumers)
- 0-100 Units (Unprotected Consumers)
- 101-200 Units (Protected Consumers)
- 101-200 Units (Unprotected Consumers)
Note: Eligibility will be determined based on electricity bills for the month of June 2024.
Sanctioned Load Requirement
- Consumers with a sanctioned load of up to 2 KW are eligible.
Exclusions
The following consumers will not be eligible for the scheme:
- Households involved in electricity theft.
- Consumers with defective meters.
- Households with multiple electricity meters at the same residence.
- Consumers who have defaulted on electricity payments (more than three late payments within the last 12 months).
